Robie Grant, Principal

Robie Grant is founder and principal of biblio&technica, an indexing services company.

Grant brings over 17 years of editorial experience to each project. She has indexed books for Pearson Education, Perseus Books, Blackwell Science, Sinauer Associates, and Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, among others, and served as reviewer for the indexing section of Merriam-Webster's Merriam-Webster's Standard American Style Manual, 2nd edition.

She has also worked as a freelance copy editor, researcher, and proofreader, and began her editorial career as an editorial assistant at BIOSIS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Grant received an A.B. cum laude from Smith College and an M.T.S. from Harvard University. She is a member of the American Society of Indexers, Bookbuilders of Boston, and EditorsPlus (Western New England Editorial Freelancers' Network).
